Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement

“Disciplining yourself to do what you know is right and important, although difficult, is the highroad to pride, self-esteem, and personal satisfaction.”
Margaret Thatcher

I think that this is correct. The way to all of these things is through self-discipline. That is the only way that you will see personal satisfaction. You must discipline yourself to do better and to improve yourself. If you don’t, then you won’t become a better person or learn from your mistakes, you will stay the same as you are and not move forward. You won’t have pride, self-esteem, or personal satisfaction. An example would be if you don’t do your homework every night and you know you need to do it. You discipline yourself by forcing yourself to do it every night or telling your parents to take away your distraction for the time being. This way you will improve and become a better person and you will start to see results.
