Summary: The
captain of the cruise ship Costa Concordia chose the wrong when he was controlling
the cruise ship. He got too close to shore, hit a rock, and sank the ship on
its side. Even worse he left the ship before all the evacuation was complete
and before all the passengers had left the cruise ship. He was in violation on
the laws that said he could not leave the ship. He was then placed on house
arrest and accused of causing a disaster.
Reflection: The
captain should have never gotten that close to the shore. He should’ve stayed
on the course of the way the cruise ship was going. He was not only putting his
life at risk, but the passengers’ lives as well. This could’ve all been avoided
if he just stayed on course and chose the right. He was responsible for a
destruction of an expensive cruise ship.
