I think that
Robert is right. It is better to suffer for just a moment and do what is right,
than to suffer for a long time doing what is wrong. For example, if someone has
committed a robbery or something like that, and they lie, then they will have a
long period of suffering. They soon start to feel guilty and down because of
what they did, but as soon as they tell a lie, the pain might be there for a
few moments while they’re saying it, but their suffering will be gone. Always tell
the truth and feel good, don’t lie and feel bad. Like the famous saying; it’s
better to hear the bitter truth, than the sweetest lie.
