Summary/Reflection
Marion Jones was a part of the Olympic team
and had a great future. She had won 3 gold medals and 2 bronze medals. Yet everything
turned upside down when she cheated for using drugs to enhance her performance.
She lied to the officials and she got caught. She was then stripped of her
medals and sent to prison for 6 months.
I think that
Marion shouldn’t have cheated. She knew that she was doing wrong things and she
knew what she was getting herself into. She was choosing the wrong the entire
time she took those drugs. It’s that same thing as if cheating in a video game
or cheating at school. You might feel great and on top of the world, but as
soon as you get caught everything comes crashing down. The bigger you are when
you cheat, the harder you will fall.
