Student Success Statement
“It
is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is
sound and good, and (to make) unpopular which is unsound (and not good).”
Joseph Smith
What he means is that it is
our duty to bring the good forth in people. Make the good come out in people
and make it go everywhere in the world. To make what is sound and good popular,
which means wanting everyone to choose the right. On the other hand, he wants
to make everything that is wrong not popular anymore. Meaning that everything
that involves choosing the wrong should be suppressed. Make it unpopular and
make people not want it. This is what everyone should be doing today in the
world.
