I agree with Phil. You should be focused on what you are doing right now and not on what could happen. If you don’t focus on the present, the lack of focus will affect the outcome of your future. When you focus more, there is a higher probability that you will be able to receive the outcome that you want. For example, if you want to win a stuffed animal at the skill games in the carnival, you need to focus on the game that you are playing and not let your mind wander off to what might happen. When focused, you clear your mind and you go for what you want and the concentration is key to winning at anything. So keep your focus and you will be able to achieve your victory.

 I agree with Elizabeth. There is no safer place to be than the truth. If you stand where lies are it is very dangerous. You will get into trouble and face some serious consequences because of where you are and if you stand where the truth is, you will always be safe and you face only good consequences.

I agree with Peter. You should always start with what is right. Don’t start with what is acceptable. For example, if you are going to do a class assignment, you want to do the best that you can so you start right away and write a very well written essay. You do not want to start a on the day before it is due and turn in something that is acceptable rather than something that is well done.

I agree with Orson. If you want to be great, you must concentrate. You must have concentration in whatever it is you are doing to succeed. You cannot be distracted on something else and you need to focus. For example, if you are about to swing for a homerun that might possibly win the game, then you must concentrate. If you are distracted, then you will miss and lose. Concentrate and you will be successful.

I agree with this statement. You should take your education as if it were a marathon. You need to pace yourself and know your limits and keep a steady pace to achieve success. You shouldn’t treat it as if it were a sprint. If you did that then, you wouldn’t learn as much and just rush through it. For example, if you rush through instructions, then you will not be able to do it as well as to if you do take your time, then you will do it better. Keep a steady pace to achieve success.

I think that Muhammad is right. Someone without imagination clearly has no wings. Imagination is what led you to think what you could become, what you think you can do, and without it, you wouldn’t be pushing yourself to do things. For example, he is one the greatest boxers and he imagined himself being that way, if he never thought of that, he wouldn’t be where he is today. As long as you can imagine yourself doing something that you want, then there is nothing stopping you from doing so.

I think that Calvin is right, there is nothing that will take the place of persistence. Persistence is one of the many things that you need to succeed and without it, there cannot be success. For example, if you want to better at something, you have to be persistent, if you aren’t, then you will not become better and achieve success. If you try any other way, then you won’t succeed. Persistence cannot be replaced.

I agree with Confucius. If you see something right and you choose not to do the same thing, it is the want of courage. You are not doing what you are supposed to. For example, if you see someone helping someone across the street, and you don’t do the same when help is needed, then you not doing any good. You are always supposed to follow someone in their good footsteps. There is nothing that you can’t do if it involves doing something that is right.

I agree with this statement. Gold medals aren’t what make anybody champions, it’s the hard work and effort they put into it. A gold medal is just a symbol saying you accomplished something and here is my proof of hard work. Everyone is a champion, no matter what you are actually doing. Your hard work and determination are what is key to making you a champion and without it, you wouldn’t be getting a gold medal, not any medal at all actually. For example, if you graduate high school, it’ll be because of your hard work, and the diploma just says that you did it. If you didn’t graduate, you still tried to do so and had a lot of hard work. You still are a champion, just that you never received your gold medal, in this case a diploma.

I agree with Liane. Continuous effort is what makers someone or you successful. You don’t have to be the strongest or most intelligent person to be successful. As long as you put in effort to what you are doing then you will be successful. For example, take a look at some of the wealthy people like Bill Gates. He wasn’t the most strong, or most intelligent, in fact, Bill dropped out of college, but he was successful because of his effort. As long as you always try, you will succeed.

I agree with William. You have to concentrate in order to succeed. You can’t go anywhere being distracted and going all over the place, you need to stay focused and try your hardest. For example, when you are going to shoot a basket, you need to concentrate on that one thing and focus, your mind can’t be on something else. If you focus and concentrated hard enough, then you would make that shot. It’s really simple to focus, you just have to put yourself to do it.

I agree with Robert. What you do in this time is what you will be in the future. What you do in the present can affect your outcome, it can affect your future. For example, if you are not doing your homework today, when it is due tomorrow, then chances are that you will get a bad grade. Your future is preset and the outcome is certain. As to if you do your homework, then you will get a good grade and pass that class, that future can also be secure. Like I said before, what you do right now, affects what will happen tomorrow.

I agree with Ayn Rand, there is no justification for the choosing of something evil, it will always be wrong. There simply is no justification to what you choose, whether you think that it might be right, it will be wrong. For example, if you choose to not do your homework because your teacher won’t go to school the next day, you are still doing something wrong. You think that it’s okay because nothing will happen, but it’s still not okay. Ayn is just trying to tell us not to choose the wrong for any reason, whether you think it’s right, ever.

I think John is right. You have to try your hardest to improve. Every day you have to learn from your own mistakes and the mistakes of others to become a better person and keep moving forward. For example, if you are playing basketball, and you miss a few shots, then you should try your hardest to improve your shots, practice. I think that’s what he’s trying to tell us, to always keep trying to improve and practice.

I understand what Mario is saying. It is sort of telling you, that if you don’t feel that it is right, then don’t do it. With his example, he said he felt something was wrong and when he did it, it was wrong. That’s the overall message he is sending everyone. For example, if you feel ditching a class is wrong, and you ditch, then you will feel bad and know it was wrong. If it doesn’t feel right, never do it.

I agree with John wooden. These are the important 3 don’ts in school. For example, every day I see kids whining about what they have to do for homework or what they have to do in class. I see kids complain to their teachers that they receive too much work, when in reality it is a small amount. I see kids making excuses that they didn’t do the homework because of something that isn’t even a valuable excuse. These three don’t are important because if you don’t do all of these things, then you will excel in your academic work. It has been proven to do so. Just take a look at John’s players/students.

I agree with Robert. You will have all the time in the world to do what is right. There is no limit to time when it comes to that. That is why you should always choose the right. Also, like he says, it will become easier with practice. For example, you might have a hard time helping your mother with chores or you might have trouble doing your homework, but the more you do it, the easier it will become. You will be doing the right things at the right time, without even noticing it, or you might notice it, but you realize now, that it is easier than before. Your conscience will always be clear when you choose the right, so don’t be afraid to do so.

I think that Davy is correct. You have to be sure that what you are doing is right. If you know that it is right, then you should go ahead and do that. In other words, I think he is saying think before you act. I think that Robert is right. It is better to suffer for just a moment and do what is right, than to suffer for a long time doing what is wrong. For example, if someone has committed a robbery or something like that, and they lie, then they will have a long period of suffering. They soon start to feel guilty and down because of what they did, but as soon as they tell a lie, the pain might be there for a few moments while they’re saying it, but their suffering will be gone. Always tell the truth and feel good, don’t lie and feel bad. Like the famous saying; it’s better to hear the bitter truth, than the sweetest lie.

I think that this statement is true. To take notes, you must listen, and if you are listening, you are paying attention. You have to be a good listener to stay on top of what you have to write down. You have to write down many notes on what the subject might be so always pay attention. For example, when you hear or see what your father or mother does and you know what they did was a right thing, then you start to take down notes. It might not be on paper, but it can be in your mind. Telling you how to choose the right correctly.
