I agree with Robert. What you do in this time is what you will be in the future. What you do in the present can affect your outcome, it can affect your future. For example, if you are not doing your homework today, when it is due tomorrow, then chances are that you will get a bad grade. Your future is preset and the outcome is certain. As to if you do your homework, then you will get a good grade and pass that class, that future can also be secure. Like I said before, what you do right now, affects what will happen tomorrow.

I think that Robert is right. You have to focus on what is happening right now to secure what might happen later on in the future. Let go of the past, even if it was something big or small, good or bad, and focus on now. What you do now determines how your future will be, your future changes based on what you do or how well you do. Your future is almost going to be determined solely by you. Just try to work hard now and focus on what you are doing rather than worrying about what might happen later.  For example, if you still cling to what happened in 5^th period in school, and not focus about 6^th, then you won’t be able to secure what might happen during the next period or the next day. You should be focusing on only 6^th. Focus now, worry later.
